2005: Toycon, F4 and Jerry Yan - the connection

Looking back those years, I've been thankful to Toycon since then they were very supportive to F4. We sold imported souvenirs, exclusive merchandises like keychains, photos, magnets, mugs and original signed albums in Toycon. We also distributed a newsletter. Since all news were translated to English, we compiled all important and exciting articles and gave it to all attendees for free! Thanks to my friend for all hardwork in photocopying and patience as I had to layout all stuff in one page!

I can't remember how many times we joined Toycon and we were very excited each year since we're trying to replenish our funds for the next activity. In 2015, Jerry Yan went to Cebu for Bench/ event. I will write a separate blog post on that fan event! I realized I didn't saved all my blog posts in Multiply so I will try my best to recall each moments! We shared the announcement during Toycon and everyone were reading at the poster. They thought Jerry Yan was one of the Toycon's suprise guest - told them - YOU WISH.

That was the only photo I had during Toycon. I knew we had participated several times. Thanks to my brother for giving me a booth!  I remembered I submitted a video entry for Toycon. I'll try to find it if I can recover the file online.

I discovered that my brother, Azrael had some blog posts about some of my events. I'll organized a blog post for each one of them. Proof that we existed!!!!

Welcome to Jerry Yan Philippines blog!

I'm still trying to think of a better introduction. I've been blogging here since 2006. But I'm a Jerry Yan fan since 2003. So, that means it's been 14 years since the blog existed and as a fan for almost 17 years! During those times, I used Yahoogroups and Multiply to share our experiences, photos, videos and fan interaction. Unfortunately, those two platforms were gone and I was busy at work during that time and I didn't save enough photos on my external hard drive!

Also just to be clear, I am not associated with any Jerry Yan Philippines group in Social Media. Those groups that I supported were posted on my sidebar. I knew them since then so I don't want to add any groups that are not "legit." Please be minded that Jerry Yan never asked for money. We helped to raise funds under his name during his birthday. That only happens once a year! I have friends who I knew since then and we're communicating if something special is going on like new projects. I told them I'm not creating a Facebook page because it doesn't make any sense since Jerry Yan has his own page. Let's support him by following him on his own page!

My apartment in Pasig was affected by Typhoon Ondoy. Flood came inside and my roof was damaged too. I didn't save the props that we used during our gatherings. I had all those gorgeous Jerry Yan photos, decorations, magazines and posters. I am not sure if all those videos I edited and saved on DVDs were still working. I didn't brought them. I asked a friend to keep it in the Philippines. I will try my best to upload those videos but since Youtube terminated my account because of copyright issue (I used songs on MVs and Youtube didn't allowed it), I decided to delete all the MVs I uploaded online since there was an incident that someone used my edited videos without my permission and didn't credited me or my team. So, i prefer not to have any traces of my work online. I know some of my friends had DVD copies, for their own eyes only. I bet they're watching it during their free time if they miss Jerry Yan!

I'm trying to create this blog more personal about my fan experiences, album or song reviews, movie reviews, and sharing some of my precious collections. I will try my best to go back from where I started as a fan. If you have stories to share, feel free to contact me (by commenting below) and I will be happily to give you a space on my blog! Any stories are welcome - throwback memories, fan experiences, why you like Jerry Yan, are you still following him? why? what are your precious collections and where you bought them and anything under the sun about Jerry Yan.

My next blog post will be some of the events I attended. Though, I am not as hard core as others who followed Jerry Yan wherever he went (I'm not rich like them to be honest) - I will share some of my personal experiences and feedback on each event ---- and some revelations too!!!!

2019 New Year Celebration: Jerry Yan singing Meteor Rain without F3!

I haven't shared this video on my blog. But according to yanchengxu.net, Jerry Yan surprised the audience at the New Year countdown celebration and sang Meteor Rain. Jerry is currently promoting "Count your Lucky Stars" series in China. Also, He celebrated his 42nd birthday.

Watched right after the song, he wept down his tears. Just like fans, we missed F4 so much. I bet he missed his friends too! I am hoping and praying for a future collaboration among 4 of them, but who knows... they're busy on their individual lives—-like me!

He sounded nervous or maybe he's holding up his emotions until the end. I loved to see more Jerry Yan singing some of his songs (F4 songs), I am still looking forward for him to consider another album. I miss attending F4 events!

Sorry, I don't know the other 3 on this video. Please help me to identify them. They blended so nice :) Peace out to the fans!

I'm back blogging Jerry Yan!

It's my 45th day of quarantine (stay at home) in United States. I've been working from home since mid-March right after my birthday. I think of reviving this blog since I have been following Jerry Yan on Facebook. Thanks to our friends from different clubs who are still there to support Jerry Yan.

I am sharing one post from YCX Facebook. I highly recommend you follow the Social Media pages I posted on my sidebar, those are legit and first hand information. They're friendly so don't forget to thank them once you shared their post. I stumbled one post from them from previous month. Not sure if this is a movie or series but looks like He's doing a "drama-action" theme. I am excited!

I'm not a huge Shen Yue fan to be honest. But since Jerry Yan featured on this series, I will still watch it. I hope their chemistry will be good. I'm not a great fan of the recent Meteor Garden reboot so I hope her acting will be good this time since Jerry Yan has been a good actor!
