Jerry is sitting on the third row next to Ms. Wang. Just now, Jacky Wu said something like, "You need to watch out tonight." Ms. Lin answered like, "Yes, I know. The camera has pointed to him already." Then the camera gave Jerry a close up and Jerry gave a very sweet smile. Then Wu said, "Oh we are talking about your sisters in CATWALK..."
When the Korean actor and Ms. Lin presented the award, the Korean actor said that he was a prince (in a tv drama). Then Ms. Lin said that there was a prince in TW as well. When Jacky tried to say something, she said let's follow the programme (in Mandarin, the two words meaning programme are pronounced as "Cheng Xu"). Jacky asked "Are you calling my name?", said that he could be the prince in TW, and asked whether he could sit in the 4th row the 2nd seat (that's where Jerry is sitting at). The camera focused on Jerry and Jerry nodded his head slightly.
Jacky tried to make Ms. Lin to give hugs to both presenters. After she hugged Zhou Xun, Jacky asked her to continue with the other presenter. Jerry hugged Jacky and hoped that he would be satisfied, but no. At the end, Jerry noticed that he could not get away, so he opened his arm for a very brief moment towards Lin, but Ms. Lin didn't go forward, so he shook hands with her instead.
When Ms. Lin introduced Jerry and Zhou Xun out, Jacky Wu said that the female host might be a little bit nervous. He asked her, "Are you nervous?" Lin answered, "No, I am not nervous, but my heart will fall for (him)." (xin dong)
Jerry & Zhou Xun
Ms. Lin will play a role in John Woo's next movie. There was a rumor that Lin will have only two lines in the movie. That's why Lin brought a sword when she pretended to interrogate the director regarding the rumor. When John Woo joked that he was surprised by Lin's performance tonight (I guess may be she lowers her voice after taking some lessons) and he would consider changing the script, the famous director next to him, Hou Xiao Yan, joked that being a director, it is better to be firm with the actors. Then the camera showed Jerry and Director Cai laughing.
According to the news clips, Jerry didn't attend the celebration party afterwards, but Ms. Lin did. She said that she was very happy to see Jerry as she hasn't seen him for months, and she would thank "him" for his kindness and cooperation.
The producer, Zhang Xiao Yan, didn't dare to watch when Jacky Wu brought Ms. Lin to the center of the stage when Jerry presented the award. She said that it ended up ok, and both Jerry and Ms. Lin behaved appropriately. She also commented that it was really not easy to even get a handshake from them. I think we need to thank Director Cai. He is really a good brother to Jerry. He didn't need to go but he still accompanied Jerry to the ceremony.
Jerry Yan Fan Meet in Manila 2004
My first time to see Jerry Yan at NBC Tent for Bench endorsement. I ask my brother Azrael to cover the event. His first experience in vlogging! I'll write a blog post about this memorable-chaotic-unforgettable experience!

Yan Cheng Xu Will Present Important Award At The Asian Pacific Film Festival,

Yan Cheng Xu will attend the Asian Pacific Film Festival this year as presenter.
Zhang Xiao Yan (kkla: a famous producer and host in TW, and she was the female host when Jerry promoted his solo album on "Happy Sunday" in 2004) is responsible for inviting guests for the Asian Pacific Film Festival, and Yan Cheng Xu agreed to attend the function as presenter. He will be he presenter of an important award.
This year, Yan Cheng Xu has had huge success in his acting career. The Hospital shown at the 8pm time slot has gained him fame and honour in the foreign markets. He has also become popular in Japan. The tremendous success of his international fans meet sessions held in Japan has made him the representative of the few who can successfully invade the Japanese market. Due to his success in his career this year and his high popularity in the foreign markets, he is one of the superstars targeted by the Asian Pacific Film Festival. To Zhang Xiao Yan who is the producer of the Asian Pacific Film Festival, Yan Cheng Xu is also a rare guest.
As Zhang Xiao Yan is highly trusted and respected by artists, upon her invitation, Yan Cheng Xu agreed to attend the Asian Pacific Film Festival and he will also be the presenter of an important award. Yan Cheng Xu has never been a presenter in any big ceremonies. The attendance of this exceptional superstar will bring refreshment, new excitement, and selling point to the Asian Pacific Film Festival which has been filled with stars already. It is obvious how wonderful Zhang Xiao Yan's connection is in the show buiness!
From being the host of the three Golden __ Award Shows to being a producer, she joked that she had become the "executive producer"? who sends out notification. However, regarding her success in inviting Yan Cheng Xu to attend the Asian Pacific Film Festival, she humbly said, " This notification was sent by Min Sheng Bao's publisher, Ms. Wang Xiao Lan. Ms. Wang thinks that the Asian Pacific Film Festival is rarely held in Taipei that a superstar who can represent Taiwan must be invited. Besides having super high popularity in foreign countries, Yan Cheng Xu is also the most popular drama representative in TW, so he meets the criterion. Publisher Wang should be given the full credit for Yan Cheng Xu's attendance."
================================================== ========
Lian He Bao also has a related news article about Jerry's attendance. In the article, it was written:
Zhang Xiao Yan happily indicates, "For a ceremony filled with media people throughout Asia, the most popular stars in TW must attend. Jerry (Yan Cheng Xu) is the most famous idol in TW, how can he be absent? Publisher Xiao Lan sent the invitation and persuaded him herself, due to her face, he decided to attend the ceremony."
Please note that Ms. Lin will be the female host for the ceremony that night and it will be held on this coming Friday.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 11/20
Team,
World Vision Philippines has announced that the Proposed Activity,
supposedly scheduled on Dec 10, is OFFICIALLY cancelled as of the
last update.. Apparently, WVI TW has cancelled the approval of the
the said activity for unknown reasons.. Anyhow, the good thing is Jerry
is still pushing through with his visit in December.. The presscon
will definitely materialize, although there is still an ongoing
negotiations as to whether WVI TW will allow the participation of
fans in the said event. For the mean time, please do hold off your
donations until the next annoucement. .
On the other hand, knowing that the "said activity" has been cxld, will his
visit be of less value? Please take note that his MAIN REASONs what
he is doing this tour is to PROMOTE Child Sponsorship and to visit
the children under WVI's wing.. he is not coming over for a fans'
gathering, so I believe if WVI TW decides to not allow fans'
participation such as a gathering, we should understand them.. Fans
could still definitely participate by making donations or better
yet, sponsoring kids. Maybe by this decision, Jerry could
concentrat more on his philanthropic activities just like what
happened in Mongolia, where his cause was not disturbed by the
media, nor by fans following him around.. Maybe it's time that we
give him the space he needs so that he could maximize his time in
getting along with the kids.. anyway, we will have many other
chances in the future..
JYP will update each and all as soon as we get the most recent
update from WVI Philippines. . For now, let us continue to pray for
the success of this whole project.

World Vision Philippines seeks 1,000 new child sponsors by Christmas
World Vision Philippines seeks 1,000 new child sponsors by Christmas
November 18, 2006
World Vision Philippines, together with its first Asia Regional Child Ambassador Jerry Yan, will embark on a Christmas campaign looking for 1,000 new child sponsors in the Philippines commencing Nov. 21 until Dec. 25.
World Vision is a child-focused Christian, development, advocacy and relief organization that helps over 100 million people in 96 countries last year alone. It is one of the world's largest child sponsorship agencies, with basic child education as its foremost initiative.
Asian superstar Jerry Yan will visit Manila and World Vision project areas on Dec. 8-10 to spend some time with Filipino-sponsored children and to raise public awareness on child sponsorship in the country. His visit to the Philippines is part of his 8 World Vision office Asian tour, which began in Mongolia last week of October followed with visits in Taiwan and Japan. Next on his itinerary will be visits to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, the Philippines and Thailand.
New World Vision child sponsors starting Nov. 21 will be given the chance to meet Jerry Yan at a press conference upon his arrival in Manila and at a thanksgiving dinner prior his flight to Thailand. This opportunity will only be made available to the first 500 child sponsors who signed up within the campaign period.
Jerry Yan, along with local celebrities Kris Aquino, Miriam Quiambao, Karen Davila, Christian Bautista, Sam Concepcion, among others, joins more than three million World Vision child sponsors in supporting poor children around the globe. He currently sponsors three children in Mongolia named Dorjtovuu, Ragchaasuren and Yanjinsuren.
"For the first time, I realized the value of my life," said Jerry Yan after bidding farewell to his sponsored children from Mongolia in his inaugural trip as World Vision Child Sponsorship Ambassador.
Despite the bitter cold and wind burnt face, he was deeply moved meeting his sponsored children in Mongolia for the first time. "Honestly, I'm the one who received the most blessing from this," shared Jerry Yan.
He has seen for himself how child sponsorship helps keep a child in school, provide for the child's basic needs including healthcare, potable water and food. Through holistic development, the child will be able to live and grow in a happier and healthier environment.
n the Philippines, World Vision assists over 120,000 children in 34 provinces and 22 cities across the nation. Nearly 10,000 Filipinos are engaged in giving a life-changing investment to 11,797 children through child sponsorship. For only P15 a day or P450 a month, a Filipino child's life is transformed and his/her future is secured.

Jerry Yan to visit Filipino sponsored children
as Asia’s World Vision child sponsorship ambassador
Taiwanese superstar Jerry Yan, popularly known as Dao Ming Si of the phenomenal hit TV series Meteor Garden and F4 fame, will be visiting the Philippines early December to promote World Vision’s Child Sponsorship program.
Jerry has been appointed as the first Asia Regional Sponsorship Ambassador of World Vision.
World Vision-Philippines was among the World Vision offices in Asia that endorsed the Asian pop star to be their envoy promoting child sponsorship across Asia.
In his first inaugural trip as Child Sponsorship Ambassador, Jerry visited World Vision-supported projects and communities in Mongolia from 24-30 October.
Following Mongolia, Jerry commenced his Asian tour to eight World Vision offices starting off in Taiwan. He will then proceed to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines and Thailand from this month until December 2006.
Jerry joins more than three million other World Vision child sponsors in supporting poor children the world over. He currently sponsors three children in Mongolia.
“Becoming a World Vision Child Sponsor has changed me. I had better understanding of the children living in poverty around this part of the world and the dire circumstances many are living in,” Jerry said during an interview after his trip in Mongolia.
Jerry said he has seen for himself how child sponsorship helps keep a child in school, provide the child and his family with basic health care, potable water, food security and sustainable livelihood. Through holistic development, the child will be able to live and grow in a healthier, happier environment.
In line with his exposure trip in Mongolia and Asian tour, Jerry is calling for around 35,000 new sponsors for children in need throughout Asia.
Here in the Philippines, World Vision assists more than 120,000 children in 34 provinces and 22 cities across the country. With Jerry's Help, NT$3 millions will be saved
According to information, this time, World Vision really thanks Jerry a lot, as being the spokesman for 10 different locations, with his high popularity throughout Asia, filming only one commercial is enough to do all the work. In the past, different locations had different spokesmen that each spokesman needed to film a different commercial. However, this time, only NT$400,000 was spent to film the promotional clip which can be used in all 10 different locations. World Vision estimated that at least NT$3 millions promotional fee can be saved.

Preface (on the left)
Jerry, the Child Sponsorship Project Ambassador, was arranged by TW World Vision Office to visit his two sponsored kids in Mongolia, and this reporter also went with the team. After this trip, the deepest impression she has is whenever Jerry sees the kids, the uneasiness that he has when dealing with the media is gone, his childlike side is shown naturally.
Mongolian kids know DMS
After flying from TW to HK, and staying overnight in Beijing, YCX finally arrived at the capital of Mogolia, Ulaan Baatar. After lunch, Jerry officially started his "Mongolian Care Tour."
The first stop was Deng Ta Zhi Jia (Lighthouse's Home), which is a shelter for kids. The 15 girls who live there are either victims of family abuse or neglection.
When Jerry arrived, it created a lot of excitement. The girls kept calling Jerry "DMS" as they have seen Meteor Garden.
Jerry happily signed autographs for the little fans. Among them, a girl, Narangoo, quietly stayed by Jerry's side. Although they couldn't talk with each other, Jerry looked at her with a smile the whole time.
This group of girls has the potential to be a reporter. They kept on asking Jerry questions, like "Why did he want to be an artist?", "Which artist does he admire most?", "What kind of role does he want to play?", etc... They even commented that Jerry looks more handsome in person than on tv, especially his big eyes, which are the the most charming.
Jerry's words: Actually I didn't intend to be an artist, instead, I wanted to be a basketball player and joined the NBA. Having what I have accomplished and being able to help the needed here are also things that I couldn't imagine in the past.
Visiting the girl who was borned with a congenital malformation called ano-rectal malformation and received treatment in Singapore
During the 7-hour ride (280 miles) on bumpy ground from Ulann Baatar to Dundgobi, although the body was in pain due to the rough ride, our mood was basically good.
The most beautiful surprise was the scenery outside the window, the blue sky and the yellow grassland with the snowed mountain.
Dundgobi Area Development Project is one of TW World Vision's developing Child Sponsorship projects. In here, we visited the girl, Tsermaa, who is familiar with the readers in Singapore.
Tsermaa, who was borned with a congenital defect known as ano-rectal malformation that her condition prevents her from discharging waste normally. Due to her condition, kids stayed away from her. Last year, she was arranged by World Vision to have the reconstruction surgeries in Singapore.
When Jerry saw the big scars on Tsermaa's body, he couldn't help feeling sorry for her and he asked her how she handled the pain of the surgeries. Tsermaa said, "Before the surgery, my mom told me to be brave, so I listened to my mom."
Tsermaa also told this reporter that her peers are willing to make friends with her now and she is attending school. Her most favourite subject is English. She also introduced herself speaking English, "My name is Tsermaa. I am 13 years old.
Tsermaa asked this reporter to send her regards to the doctors and nurses in the hospital where she had her surgeries. When asked what she misses the most about Singapore, she answered, "The weather. In Singapore, it does not have the chilling wind like in Mongolia. I also miss the gourmet food and different kinds of fruits. I also like to visit the zoo and the park."
Jerry's words: With her young age, Tsermaa has experienced the pain that we may never experience at all our whole lives. This leads me to think about sometimes when I feel frustrated and stuck, I feel down easily, but now by looking at these kids, my situation is actually not that bad at all.

Day 3
Little Kid Rides a Horse and Helps Herd Cattles to Support Family
Jerry visited his two sponsored kids, Dorjtovuu and Ragchaasuren (both 8 years old), at school, and also played basketball with them. He also visited their homes with gifts like scarves, gloves, comforters, thermoses, pens, candies, etc...
Dorjtovuu's father is still serving a sentence in jail due to stealing others' livestock. His mother needs to take care of 5 kids by herself. His little brother played with fire once that burned their only ger. World Vision sent his family a new ger and taught his mother ways to improve income.
After hearing Dorjtovuu's story, Jerry has deep feeling, as he was also raised in a single-parent home that he can understand the hardship of being a single mom. Jerry is deeply touched by the fact that Dorjtovuu helps herd others' livestock to earn extra money for his family since youth, and he commented that he was not as smart as Dorjtovuu when he was young.
Ragchaasuren's parents are herdsmen who live in the countryside. As Ragchaasuren and his sister, Yanjinsuren, need to attend school, so they live with their grandmother, and they won't go home until the weekend.
Jerry's words: When we filmed the short clip in Dorjtovuu's home, his little brother kept playing with the wrapper of a candy given by us. As the sound interrupted with the filming, the director tried to take the candy from him for the moment. Surprisingly, his brother hid the candy immediately. The snacks and candies that we can get easily, to the kids here, are very valuable. I feel that I didn't know how to treasure before, but now, from these kids, I have learned to treasure the people and things around me more.
Day 4
The Most Honest Expression of Feelings
Jerry filmed a short clip with Ragchaasuren and Yanjinsuren, and they even rode a camel. When Ragchaasuren and Yanjinsuren got on the camel like a piece of cake, the smile on their faces was so bright.
Jerry's words: Yesterday, on our way back to their grandmother's house, when Yanjinsuren was sitting on my lap holding my hand with hers and when I protected her with my big body, that was the first time I have felt so being needed in my life. At that moment, I suddenly felt that giving her the warmth was so important. May be we are just strangers, but she trusts me so much that she just leaned on my body the whole time. That was the most honest expression of feelings.
Eating Birthday Cake For The First Time
erry's HK fan club has sponsored 2 kids in Mongolia using his name. Today, Jerry visited one of them, Naranbayar, and celebrated his birthday with him. However, as being exposed to the sun and wind for more than 3 hours for filming the clip yesterday, Jerry has the sunburn and frostbite. Therefore, he politely rejected the reporters' company when visiting Naranbayar that he only went with the staff from World Vision.
After going back to the capital, due to Jerry's not feeling well, a group interview with the local media was also cancelled.
According the staff from World Vision Singapore, Jerry brought a chocolate birthday cake with an elephant on top to Naranbayar. Jerry wishes that Naranbayar will be as strong as an elephant. This is the first time Naranbayar has tasted a birthday cake. After having a bite, he immediately shared the cake with his family.

Jerry In The Eyes of The Reporter
There is a child living inside Jerry, as when he interacts with kids, he is like a big kid himself. His smile is as bright and pure as the kids'
Like at the kindergarden, when he played Yao Yao Le with the kids, made silly faces, and protruded his tongue, that was not the Jerry that I see usually. When he distributed the candies to the kids, he didn't just unwrap the candies for them, he even fed the candies to them. He is just like a very warm and sincere big brother. Later, he held a kid on his lap and teased him continuously, as if he didn't want to let him go. The kid was very obedient with no crying or fussing, but an expression of satisfaction. Just a nice portrait of father and son! Very touching!
This reporter told Jerry that it must be very warm to lean on his chest that the kid might just fall asleep like that. Jerry answered with a smile, "Then I wrap him up and take him home."
Jerry said, "Before I came to Mongolia, I always thought that the kids are very painful, but along the trip, I have seen them live happily. I think, they all live in their happy world. Their eye gaze and facial expression are so natural and there is no need to pretend, like when we arrived at the kindergarden, a kid cried immediately, and a few others just ignored us when they wanted to. I feel that it is easier and more natural for me to interact with kids than adults and I hope that like those kids, I won't be impacted by the outside world as much.
No need to pretend and being able to express his emotions freely? His words give others a sense of helpless regarding something that he wants very badly but he is not able to get.
owever, I believe that like the kids, Jerry has his own happy world, that's the time when he temporarily stops being a superstar for the moment.
Like when he played basketball with the kids, he held a kid running around for a moment, and then he put another kid on his shoulder the next moment. The basketball court was filled with laughs. When his white sweatshirt was made dirty because of the game and when he was forced to the ground by the kids, his bright laugh continued.
As at here, he is not F4 or an Asian superstar, he is just a naughty kid.

Jerry Yan connects love throughout Asia

Jerry Yan connects love throughout Asia, making the world so near, Sponsorship and Love in one for [700 yuan a month!] Through the sponsor-a-child program, be a part in giving aid to the story of every child in the world.
Coming back to Taiwan with a covered face saying it is due to frostbite and sunburn, everything that Jerry Yan has experienced in Mongolia, stirred up the fans and media at once, what did he really underwent during this trip, is what everybody is anticipating; and during the presscon after coming back for two days, Jerry Yan shows up and shares to the whole world his insights during his stay in Mongolia.
During this almost-Internationa l Pess Conference, aside from reporters from Taiwan, reporters from Malaysia also broadcast this at the same time. Director of World Vision Taiwan Tu Ming Han states that 400,000,000 people in the whole world do not drink fresh water, about 121,000,000 people are deprived from school, 11,000,000 cannot live beyond 5 years old, these figures can be gruesome, and this time by inviting Jerry Yan as the spokesperson in Asia, we are hoping to make more people be aware of the most important factor. Sponsor-a-child campaign is a form of accompanying one child in terms of growth, may it be spiritual, environmental growth and many others. As of now, the whole world has 3,000,000 sponsors who have joined this campaign, hopefully, we could still add 3,500,000 more sponsorship so that more children could be given help. Director Tu expressed that Jerry Yan’s move is a true biography, a written book of courage, love and risks; Surely much more people will be aware of it and even be involved with giving care.
First time to be a [Father], he felt happy and special
After the Press Conference, Jerry Yan shared his experience with sunburn in Mongolia, [In Mongolia, the temperature can go negative 35 degrees, while during day time it’s really hot there, I neglected the hot temperature and did not take note how long I was under the heat, and most of the time I was very lazy, but I’m fine now, please do not worry about me.] Although he’s faced with an uncomfortable sunburn, Jerry expressed that he was very happy to be with World Vision in Mongolia, before he went for this trip he already knew what he would encounter, [including the water to be used to wash my face, it would be very cold, but when I saw the child’s very ordinary reaction, even if they lack basic needs, they live ordinarily, happily and even share it with you, even if the child doesn’t like it, he doesn’t tell, in this kind of gesture, I think I saw myself when I used to be that naive and simple.] Jerry says, I’m very happy to be able to gather my strength, I believe that more people will be aware how these children need them.
Aside from these, Jerry Yan also shared how to be a father the first time, [I never thought I could be a father one day, the feeling is too immense, I was holding a very happy moment, hoping I could make them happy, but when I went to visit them, it seems like its in a movie or TV, most of them are kids, facing all the hardships, my heart cannot bear to see it, and even told myself to be brave enough in facing my life.]
While mentioning this, Jerry even remembered a child from his first visit named Si Ma, the child suffered from imperforated anus, and was even abandoned by her father, letting the child shoulder the body and spiritual difficulty at an early age. Through World Vision’s assistance, Si Ma can undergo surgery at Singapore, undergoing a number of major operations, upto this day, Si Ma’s condition has received tremendous improvement, her life started to leave the difficulties she has undergone. [It’s my first time to see so many scars in one body part, it even happened on a 12-year old girl. When I asked her how would she deal with her father abandoning her, I can see that she doesn’t want to speak, that kind of stare, I can still remember it until now; I was wishing I could ask the question in an indirect way, so as not to hurt her feelings even more…]
When asked about Jerry’s sponsored child BA Dan, Jerry said: [He is almost similar to me, I really love this kind of feeling, knowing I gave only 700 Yuan, we can have a meal or buy new clothes, but then it could already change a life of one child.]
Spent the time meeting children at the “Vast Desert”, I saw my past and future
Opening up another topic, Jerry mentioned that during this trip, he felt he doesn’t know how to interact with people, [I’m like a Big Kid, I still have a lot to learn.] He remembered a time when he was playing basketball with a kid, [The kids were really short that I’m afraid I could accidentally kick them, and still, I don’t know how to play with them. In the end, there were other friends who joined us, seeing them play with those kids, I realized I can carry them on my shoulder and play with them.] During this trip he also recalled how he makes some gesture with his family, [I love my mom, but I don’t know how to express it, I often blame myself to express how I care for her.]
During this trip, Jerry Yan also visited those kids which were sponsored by the fans for almost 5 years, his deepest impression went to Na Lan BAi Ya whose father was diagnosed with liver cancer, while the mother makes handicrafts for living, income can only reach less than 500NT a month which must take care of 3 little girls, [Maybe because I grew from a family of single parent, I can absorb what they’re going through, when I knew that their father will not stay long in this world, looking at their kids, when time comes they could end up like me…] as he talked about it, Jerry’s unable to hide his sadness.
[Personally, I’m a guy who is easily affected with anything, I feel like crying whenever I recall everything that has happened.] This time he said, aside from his underwear, everything that he brought with him like goodies, school supplies and shirts were all given to the children, he recalled when he was a kid, every New Year, there is this uncle from Hong Kong who brings Peking Duck to them during his visit, this is one of the best memories he had when he was a kid, [Until now, I would still visit that Uncle, I felt that the kids and I share the same feeling, hoping that this person would always be around, always bringing them a good memory during their childhood.]
Jerry even expressed, not only in Mongolia, there are more places in the world which need help, he hopes that in the future he can preserve a long-term relationship with World Vision, not only just a spokesperson, but a true worker, [Whatever I can do, I’ll try my best to do it.] Jerry Yan mentioned that he is very thankful for World Vision Taiwan for giving him a chance to see what the world needs, in the near future, not only he is involved with the Sponsor-a-child program, he also wanted to encourage relatives and friends to join this [Sponsor-a-child Program], [In Mongolia, most of the family can only earn less than 500NT a month, for just 700 yuan, we can give a lot of help for these families.]
SPOKESPERSON FOR ASIA, SPREADING HIS LOVE AND CARE
World Vision Taiwan expressed, Virtue will not lead to solidarity, surely it will gain you a neighbor! Aside from Jerry Yan being the spokesperson, the Sponsor-A-Child program has already gained 3,000,000 sponsors, in Taiwan, we would like to thank each host and Taiwan Gu Wang ADSL Ltd. Co. for its strong recommendation for the Sponsor-A-Child program, they have been participating for three years now and even helped in promotions and spreading the program throughout Asia, it also included the backdrops for this Press Conference, etc; GRAND FORMOSA REGENT TAIPEI has also prepared a Christmas-lighting Charity Event, Yahoo Kimo has given a charity webpage and blog for advertisement, CARMEX and other products are also willing to help, Taiwan Fur has sponsored the Mongolian trip’s coats, the ones Jerry Yan wore were already up for auction in World Vision’s Official Website, bidding has already reached 100,000NT.
Jerry Yan will be the spokesperson for the whole Asia including Taiwan and ten more countries (Mongolia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, etc.) [Sponsor-A-Child Program]’s Spokesperson has already shared his documentary on the life of every Mongolian, this will serve as a call for the rest of Asia, going back to Taiwan, his next stop would be Japan, Jerry expressed: [I hope that there will be more people who would join this program!] Having the same goal with the other 3,000,000 sponsors in the world, Jerry Yan is appealing to every individual, to be able to find 3,500,000 more sponsors, and surpass this Sponsor-A-Child Program together, in order give more kids the help they need.
